Into the Core: World Building

My friend https://www.artstation.com/leontukker came up with a planet covered mostly with water and with very major tidal shifts. As a fun world building project i set out to explore a culture that lives in these ever changing tidal planes and see if I could design some creatures that have adapted to this world. It's an homage to my love of the ocean as an avid surfer and my experiences snorkeling. I absolutely love sea life and its colors and this felt like a great way to practise my skills as a concept artist!
